50 Cent may have just come off a massive fundraiser and community-building event in his new hometown of Houston, but that does not mean his trolling days are over. Far from it, actually. 50 Cent loves a good messy internet moment and is the king of making them, with Lil Kim being one of his favorite targets. Now he’s taken things to an all-new low after involving her 8-year-old daughter in their feud.
50 Cent is not afraid to come for anyone. The rapper started his career picking fights with people on the mixtape circuit in the late ’90s before bigger beefs with Jay-Z, JaRule, and The Game helped fuel his mainstream success. While he does not pick fights as much on record anymore, 50 has fully acclimated to the social media culture and the power of a carefully timed meme. Always a businessman first, 50 always makes sure to end his trolling posts with the hashtags of all his liquor brands.
50 Cent and Lil Kim started off on good terms. The rappers collaborated early in his career on the single “Magic Stick,” which they performed together at the BET Awards. It is unclear when things went left for the two, but the album version of “Magic Stick” does not currently feature 50’s verse on streaming platforms. KIm included a dig at him on her 2005 album The Naked Truth on the record “Spell Check.” “The man 5-0, I don’t see him in the club, Cause he out in the CT with a [expetuve] in his b.” 5-0 is a reference to 50 Cent but also to the police, basically calling him a snitch. 50 also famously owned a huge mansion in Connecticut, formerly the residents of Mike Tyson. 50 fired back on his 2005 single “Piggy Bank” with the line “Freak b—- look like Kim before the surgery.” Kim would later dismiss 50 in the press, saying “How can a man have beef with a woman? Whatever, that’s just not cool.”
Last year 50 took new aim at Kim and compared her outfit and face at an Award show to an Owl. Kim tried to take it in stride and responded to him, saying, “I see u still in ur feels about that dinner date u asked me on that I had to turn down. Let it go, u have a beautiful girlfriend, I have a loving husband. Let it go.” He followed this up by comparing her performance in a green outfit to the Leprechaun horror films in the ’90s. Kim continued to deflect these insults telling him he was not funny and possibly obsessed with her.
Lil Kim just teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion for a remix of Meg’s single “Plan B.” While Kim maintains that they are rapping about an ex-boyfriend on the song, 50 Cent alleges that she took shots at Nicki Minaj baby and posted “she said something about the baby, her baby eye f*** up.” Kim immediately responded by telling him “now watch what god do to his life,” followed by a lengthier story post when she considers herself the most “disrespected legend” and defends her daughter from 50 Cent’s taunt. One fan tweeted, “50 Cent been bullying Lil Kim for years, and no one speaks up, not even mfs from the Black community.”
