The road to love has been a long one for R&B star Chilli. Despite being connected to some of the most desirable men in entertainment, the TLC vocalist has always found herself back on the market and searching after things don’t go well. While Chilli has been rumored to have some really strict requirements over the years, it appears love finally came knocking when she let her guard down.

Chilli’s first superstar pairing was with fellow musician Dallas Austin. The two quietly dated while he worked on TLC’s debut album, welcoming a son named Tron. In the years since, Chilli has been connected to the likes of Floyd Mayweather, Marlon Wayans, and Nick Cannon. Her most public relationship would be with fellow Atlanta vocalist Usher. She would go on to star in all the videos from his 8701 album before becoming the basis of the content for 2004’s Confessions.
Chilli would jump into reality television hoping to find the one, but What Chilli Wants only exposed the star’s impossible checklist. Her dream man required a six-pack, no smoking, and had to be a man of color. However, Chilli later revealed that maybe real love was outside of her own race after years of false statrs. Chilli popped up last summer in Hawaii with actor Matthew Lawrence before the two went IG official over the Christmas holiday. While Chilli has not said anything about her new boo yet, Lawrence was stopped by TMZ, who had some questions.

While he would not divulge on how serious things are, he did reveal that he feels Rozanda is “special” and that they plan to do a podcast together to bring people in on their lives. He was with his famous siblings Joey and Andrew who also chimed in. “She’s awesome, she’s great. It’s all about being happy,” Joey said while getting into their car.
Matthew says that going IG official did not add any additional pressure to their union since he and Chilli prefer to be private. When asked about a family or kids, Matt simply responded, “she is one of the most spectacular people I’ve ever met.”
