Wendy Williams’ Son Fears His Mother Is Near Death, Believes She’s Not In Her Right Mind and Being Taken Advantage Of

Fans of Wendy Williams have been on a wild rollercoaster over the last few years.

The talk show host has seen her health take a steep decline following her divorce. It resulted in her show going off the air. Since then, Williams has popped in and out of the public eye in a series of erratic and concerning exchanges with paparazzi and fans.

While some were holding onto hope that she would get better and return to our tv screens, her son is now alluding to the worst possible scenario. Wendy Williams has suffered health issues for years. She was famously bedridden with her only child Kevin Jr. during her pregnancy after several miscarriages. Later in life, she went public about her battle with Graves disease and lymphedema. These, coupled with covid-19 and substance abuse, sent her into a terrible spiral back in 2021.

Williams has never properly recovered, and added mental health issues landed her in a guardianship. Williams has complained publicly about her money being frozen and says she was being taken advantage of.

Kevin Jr. was immediately listed as one of the culprits, reportedly running up his mother’s credit cards and owing thousands on a Miami condo they rented for him to go to college in Florida. Kevin is speaking out in his first public interview and told The Sun that it is his mother’s handlers that are bleeding her dry.

“I know there are all sorts of things happening that I know in her right mind she would never agree to,” Kevin Jr. told the news source. “As hard as it is seeing her being taken advantage of, I know that if I’m making sure she, as a person, is okay, that is the important thing.” Kevin Jr. says that his mom’s PR representative has been pushing her to keep earning money and is enabling her to drink, which can be fatal for Williams since her body does not release alcohol like most people.

Fans in the comments struggled to be empathetic, and they recalled Wendy’s years of dragging other people’s personal problems into the media. “This is really sad! The fact she knows why she’s getting punished, but she had a reason for everything!” quipped one person.
